Alexis’ yoga journey began in 2012, and with every new year her love for the practice of yoga is fortified. Alexis believes that yoga provides a healthy outlet for anything you desire from the practice, whether it’s for healing and comfort, energy, for release, for humility and patience, for a challenge, for clarity, the mat is ever changing to your needs.
Alexis became a teacher to dive headfirst into the waters of yoga, and yell from the ebbing waves, “Come on in, the water is fine!” Whether you’re a beginner or an expert there’s always a space reserved in her class just for you, with a welcome mat that reads, “You’re right where you’re supposed to be”.
Off of the mat Alexis enjoys spending my time with her two dogs & her husband. She loves to garden, paint, read, listen to true crime podcasts, bake, cook, and find new interests to study such as the oracle, spirituality, psychology, herbs and their medicinal properties, Ayurveda, and Human Design.
It is her absolute joy to be a part of your wellness journey. Alexis looks forward to sharing with you the light that guides her daily through the practice of yoga. Alexis enjoys teaching Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, and Trauma-informed Yoga. She is currently expanding her yoga knowledge and obtaining her RYT 500
