“Having tried all kinds of wellness programs and ways to stay active, both mentally and physically, none of them were actually sustainable for me.
Ten years ago, while browsing a thrift store, I came across an old VHS tape of yoga. I then had to hunt down a VCR, and the rest is history!
After many nights with my VHS tape and reading online, I felt confident enough to attend an actual class in a studio. I was expecting it to be more intimidating than it actually was. I found the yoga community to be where I belong. My favorite part about the practice is that it is not a competition; everyone is on their own journey. I often find myself recommending yoga to everyone because of how significantly it has impacted my life for the best, and I wanted to learn more.
I received my YTT200-hour certificate from The Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona.
In my free time, I’m all about my grandson, Enzo, and riding my motorcycle around with a good playlist!”
