Layla has been practicing yoga since 2014. She initially started yoga because she felt intrigued by the postures. Layla has used yoga as a healing practice, to help her to manage depression and anxiety, and to work through trauma.
She knows that the practice of yoga has the opportunity to provide healing, discovery, and self-love. Layla firmly believes that yoga is a sustainable physical, mental, and spiritual practice that everyone can benefit from. She hopes to help others develop a consistent practice too.
Layla works to create an inclusive environment, to help you gain confidence within yourself in your physical practice. She also integrates the importance of breathwork, teaching you how to breathe…as that is what really yoga is about.
Layla’s background is in public health, and she works as an epidemiologist when not teaching yoga. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing with a delectable cup of coffee, going on taco runs, and exploring Arizona hiking trails. She can’t wait to guide you through your practice and looks forward to meeting each and every one of you at Forever Yoga!
